The page "Recent activity" accessible from the "My Space" menu tracks:
- Everything that happens in your space: comments, answers to your comments, tags added, documents favorited, recent visitors...
and also,
- your own activity in others' spaces.
You can easily follow in real time, comments left in your space, that you write, and responses from members through the "Activity" page ("My Space" menu).
Comments in your space
By clicking on the tab "In your space", you can see all the comments that members have left for you.
Your comments for others
The comments that you write in others are grouped under "Your comments". This tab also lets you see comments left after yours. To stop following a thread of comments, click "[x] do not follow anymore" under the thumbnail of the document.
Responses to your comments
To see only the answers to your comments, click on "Your comments" and then on "Direct replies only" (top right).
There is also a comments RSS feed which you can subscribe to at the bottom left of the page to follow the comments without logging on to ipernity.
TIP: try to use the "reply" link when responding to a comment. It will help the member know that you've answered them!
A summary of news from the members in your network is sent by email. You're informed of:
- birthday wishes,
- the latest visits to your space,
- new members that your friends and family have added to their networks,
- the latest documents, albums and posts posted...
You decide whether or not to receive the summary and choose the frequency in your email notification preferences.
Click on "My Network" and then on the "Latest docs & posts."
At a glance, you are shown the last 1000 documents and articles published by your entire network.
Perfect to catch up if you are away for a few days.
You can also subscribe to all the latest docs and posts using the RSS feeds button at the bottom left of the page.
RSS files are another way to stay informed. Once subscribed to a feed, you get the latest posts (blog posts, photos, videos, music...) from a member, a group, or anything on ipernity, without having to log on to the site.
You can also follow the activity in your space or the responses to your comments.
The RSS feeds are available on most pages for each user as well as on the latest publications, for public documents.
