Tags are like labels that provide information about the content of a document. They can take the form of:
- Words or phrases (keyword tags),
- Names of members (member tags)
- Geographical locations (geotags).
You can indicate which member is in a picture and give additional information such as "birthday", "summer holidays", "Madrid" etc.
Tags are useful for search and exploration of documents. A click on the member tag "Lisa B." And you have access to everything concerning Lisa B.: Photos, videos, posts, audio, etc.
Discover tags keyword most popular ipernity used.
To add a member tag, the member must be part of your network:
1 - Display the document (or post) and click on "Add a member" (in the right column)
2 - Type the first few letters of their name and select the corresponding name
3 - When it's to a photo, a frame will appear on the document. Put it in the right place and confirm (you can adjust its size by pulling on the handles).
TIP: Don't hesitate to add member tags to your documents and posts or those of others (if they permit it): The member who's tagged will be notified that a document (or post) concerns them, so use them wisely :-)
Explore documents associated with your member tag!
A geotag allows you to geographically locate your documents by placing them directly on the world map.
Geotags are an amazing way to discover the world through your documents and those of others. Travel from your armchair!
And of course, with geotags, you won't forget where a photo was taken :)
Geotags are created using the DocManager.
Discover all the geotagged documents through the world map !
It depends on the documents and posts with which they are associated. A tag added to private content won't be visible to anyone, a tag added to content shared with Family will only be visible to members of your family, and so on.
Keyword tags can be added:
- When uploading your documents or writing a post
- On the page of a document or post (in the right column)
- Using All-in-One edition
- With the DocManager (for tagging several documents at once)
TIP: You can add multiple tags simultaneously, separated by a space. They will be recorded separately. If you want to add a phrase, use quotation marks (i.e. "skiing holidays").
The geopoint shows your network where you are in the world.
Go to preferences / where are you and enter your address (if you want to keep a little mystery, only pick the country and the city).
Your geopoint is visible in your Profile. To see geopoints of your loved ones, go to Your Network / View on the map .
