Please help other people to make their photos better by sharing freeware software link.

Gimp

GIMP is an acronym for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed program for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring.

It has many capabilities. It can be used as a simple paint program, an expert quality photo retouching program, an online batch processing system, a mass production image renderer, an image format converter, etc.

GIMP is expandable and extensible. It is designed to be augmented with plug-ins and extensions to do just about anything. The advanced scripting interface allows everything from the simplest task to the most complex image manipulation procedures to be easily scripted.

Cinepaint

CinePaint is a collection of free open source software tools for deep paint manipulation and image processing. CinePaint is used for motion picture frame-by-frame retouching, dirt removal, wire rig removal, render repair, background plates, and 3d model textures. It's been used on many feature films, including The Last Samurai where it was used to add flying arrows. It's also being used by pro photographers who need greater color fidelity than is available in other tools.

Terragen

Terragen is a very intuitive and easy 3D landscape-rendering tool.
with terragen, you can create 3D environments just by "painting" the altitude of the landscape (to create mountains etc) and then fill specified areas (such as below zero) with water. you can also add fotorealistic clouds, and different textures.

with additional (but non free) plug-ins, you can also add trees, snow and whatnots.

there's no 3D modeling knowledge needed, so check it out - it's cool!

FDR Tools

FDRTools Basic are a collection of capable tools for the ambitious shutterbug.

This software allows you to overcome the technical limitations of your digital camera and produce images with a contrast and dynamik range not considered possible so far.

The dynamic range enrichment is handled comfortable and far easier than with traditional methods. The performance characteristics outclass these methods.

Essential features:

* Combine several differently exposed photos of an exposure series into an HDR image
* Prepare your HDR images for display or print with high quality tonal range compression (tone mapping)
* Import the RAW images of your digital camera
* Export and archive the optimised HDR image in a format of your choice
