Konzipiert für die junge französische Gesellschaft bietet die Gemeinschaftsseite Ipernity einen Platz, um seinen Blog zu erstellen, seine Bilder und Multimediadateien zu teilen und... Bekanntschaften zu machen. Man erkennt schnell die Konkurrenten, die Ipernity inspirierten: Flickr (Ipernity kultiviert im übrigen die Ähnlichkeit mit dieser Site und bietet den Benutzern von Flickr an, ihre Photos zu importieren) und MySpace (aber die Seiten der Ipernity-Benutzer sind sehr viel angenehmer zu lesen, da sie weniger wirr sind). Benutzerfreundlich und einfach zu bedienen ermöglicht die Seite einen Dokumenten-Upload von 200 MB pro Monat; ein "Pro"-Angebot für 2 Euro im Monat erhöht diesen Umfang auf 1,2 GB.

Between MySpace and Flickr
Conceived for the recent French society the community side Ipernity offers a place to provide a Blog, to share pictures and multimedia files and… to make acquaintances. One fastly recognizes the competitors, that inspired Ipernity: Flickr (Ipernity cultivated the the similarity with these site and offers to the Flickr users the possibility to import their photos) and MySpace (however the pages of the Ipernity users are to be read very many more pleasantly, cause they are less confused). User friendly and simply to serve the side makes a document upload possible of 200 MB per month; a “pro” - offer for 2 euro in the month increases this extent to 1,2 GB.
