Catalina Beach Beauty


The "beach" at Avalon is too small for a candid photographer to blend in. I had to settle for this view from the boardwalk.

Afterward, she got up and slipped on her shorts and top and left the beach. Unfortunately, she was only a few feet away and she was facing me... So, I couldn't get a decent photo series of the reverse striptease.

Well, that's the same problem I have with the small, lakefront "beaches" hundreds of miles from the ocean. At a large, busy beach like Daytona or Miami, all you have to do the get lots of good photos is sit in one place and wait -- they will come to you. I've only been to CA once, but I'm sure the big beaches there are the same way -- lots of traffic.
