Just playing around with 'layers' and 'textures'...

This was actually very pretty in color, but once I tried it in black and white there was no going back...

Apparently, conditions were just right for this fungal colony I found living at the base of a tree in the front yard!! These mushrooms were packed so close together that I didn't even realize what they were at first!

The more I worked on this 'leaves in a stream' shot, the more it took on a life of it's own. I didn't run any filters on this...just color manipulation and contrast. It's much more interesting in the Larger size...^+^

Don't you just want to run your fingers through that curly hair?!!...These little guys were so friendly and cute!

I love the symmetrical, yet chaotic patterns of this Japanese Plum leaf. To be honest, I didn't notice it until I processed this photo.

I don't know how this live weed got into the birdbath, but it struck me as another example of the cyclic nature of life. The Yin Yang of Nature...
