Memories...
This is some video of Peggy Sue that I've never posted. This is a little more than a week after I rescued her. She is so tiny and wobbly, only about 7-8 weeks old here. This wee one has come a long way.

(The "tweeting" in the background is a cockatiel.)

Hahahaha! It must have been a little of my personality that rubbed off on her. ;)

So very sweet- your pictures and videos of your pets -
the paradise for racoons. - except this situation , where one of them was fenced in.;-) But surely there had been a good reason to do so..
I guess it was for her own safety..

Awwww, thank you. Yes, safety and comfort must always be first for them. All else is for their pleasure. :) They also get a feeling of security in having their own space, especially when they are frightened babies.

Sweet little baby - I wonder what she was thinking that moment?

An alien place, no mother, and no siblings... I think she was still in shock and afraid, but bravely starting to explore her new surroundings. I think it was a harder adjustment for her since she was older by a few weeks than Dora or Patty and Eddie when they were rescued.

It is funny, Peggy Sue is more outgoing and curious with strangers than Dora. I guess it is partly because of her vision problems because she rushes forward to meet people and her little hands go non-stop grabbing and exploring their fingers, hands, and hair. Dora, meanwhile, sits back and watches, waiting for the treats to appear. :)

you really do give new meaning to a song that always echoes in my mind when I watch your videos and read your rescue stories (Louis Armstrong or Eva Cassidy singing "What A Wonderful World")

How I wish I could feel those hands one day...:-) Lovely to see a bit of surprise at the permanently attached stripey thing ;-)
You should have called her: dora Deux, because she is just adorable too!!
