Jamming


Here's a double premier: a) I recorded a movie using the built-in iSight on my MacBook Pro for the first time and b) I am sharing a self-made video for the first time ever. I guess, I am inspired by Sascha's video clips today, so I let you witness some of my weekend guitar practicing, if you want to :-) All raw, unedited, uncut and - yeah, I might have to crank the guitar up next time.
P.S.: B.t.w.: This is supposed to be "Talk to your Daughter" by Robben Ford I'm playing along with.
P.P.S.: I left any mistakes on purpose to prove that I'm not faking it (well - let's say, it's still a bit of a fake, since I'm not EXACTLY playing all of the same notes Robben Ford plays, but trying to get as close as possible)
P.P.P.S.: Sorry for looking terrible - not enough sleep in days...

Eine Strat UND eine Ukulele :-) - cool! Und das vom linguistischen Punk - herrlich! :-D Welche Farbe hat Deine Strat denn? Was Sascha betrifft, muß ich jetzt sehr genau abwägen, ob ich noch 'was poste... ;-) (aber er hat ja "nur" Spaß gemacht :-D) - außerdem: Das Web 2.0 braucht solche Nachrichtensprecher mit coolen Ideen und in gestreiften Hemden ;-))

Meine Gitarre (Traditional Stratocaster, relativ billig, aber immerhin USA-made) ist schwarz, nichts Aufregendes. Ein E.C. Signature Model wäre mir natürlich lieber gewesen ... aber auf der anderen Seite auch um so peinlicher!
Meine Ukulele hingegen ist eine richtige “Made in Germany” Brüko!!!

Ich wünschte auch, meine wäre schwarz oder weiß - alles, außer "leberkäs"farben ;-) Aber das war damals die einzige US-Strat im Laden und mir wurde gesagt, eine aus USA mitzunehmen würde sich wg. Zoll etc. nicht wirklich lohnen. In Rückschau: Außer glücklicherer Farbwahl hätte es das auch nicht. E.C. Signature heißt "Eric Claption Signature", nehme ich an?

It's just the camera angle, Sara - trust me ;-) But funny you should mention my physical size: Eversince self-confidence started to grow - well, at times it does ... ;-) - I *feel* taller, really funny. I was rated as one of the short guys at school from being about 8-10 inches shorter than most students, and my overall height is no more than 5''8. But it feels "more" than that sometimes. But no - I'm so NOT super tall ;-)

I guess I do have some instinct. Glad to know you are not so tall. :) The tallest person in my family is my brother who is 5'8. :) I'm only 5'2.5 or 5'3. :)) My dad is only 5'6. Yay for you!! But you still look fucking tall here. :) Maybe your head is getting so big that you are growing!! :) Just kidding of course.
