summertime ... and some "blushed cyder" on the balcony 


two glasses of "Aspall Perronelle's Blush" Suffolk Cyder (the one with a dash of blackberry Liqueur :D), a wooden table and loads of sunshine it's all it takes to get a nice capture like this one :D

Aaah the joys of summer! My first acquaintance with cider in England was in a sunday afternoon parish meeting: We had cucumber punch! I still cannot understand how one can combine both tastes, but the folks there seemed to like it. I, however still prefer my cider straight. :)

Cucumber punch sounds absolutely horrid to me, YUCK!!! Cider straight is probably the nicest treat, but this one we were trying, "blushed cider" with that bit of blackberry liqueur tasted wonderful (I LOVE blackberries) and felt truly summery :)
