I have been traveling so much this summer that I am afraid I have forgotten what it feels like to just be home.
Yesterday was spent just being home after being in Rhode Island 11 days ago and leaving the kids there only to have to pick them up last Saturday on the way to Brion's Family Bi-Annual Reunion.
Last Saturday I drove about 600 miles picking up the kids, driving to New York and driving back home. Sunday was a crash-at-home day spent with Keith and Jacob and joined by Laura for dinner. On Monday, we left again for Maine.
Today we drop Ian off at Boy Scout camp.
Tomorrow it is NYC.

Now we are off to drop Ian off at camp an hour away. We will be traveling there the next 4 weekends as he will be staying there this week, home a week, then back the next. Argh! Oh, and Parents' Night are Wednesdays, so stick two of those in there too.

...be thankful the camp is only an hour away;)
I have enjoyed my visit to your site, Tracy, and look forward to seeing more.

At least still having family in NE you can come and visit. All my family has left NY (well, most of them) and I have a tough time when I want to go "home".
