Summer Jamboree

Wednesday August 22, 2007 at 10:06PM

How about a voyage in time to the Fourties, Fifties and Sixties?

Summer Jamboree (www.summerjamboree.com) is, IMHO, the most important event taking place in Senigallia, the town where I live.

It's a festival dedicated to the music and the civilization of the Fourties, Fifties and Sixties.

People from all around the Europe come to Senigallia and it's a week full of Rock'n'Roll, Swing and so on.

This year the two most important events are a Jerry Lee Lewis concert and a Dita von Teese (former Marylin Manson wife) burlesque strip show.

I don't know if I'll be able to show you something thru my camera, but if you love that period you better give a look to their website and start to organize a trip to Italy for the next year.
