I also have a retired teacher friend who just left Sachem HS and continues to teach online and at a Community College but mainly continues to write. He had published 36 grade B novels(romances,YA etc.) and supported his family for a few years prior to 30 years of teaching. He has adjusted pretty well it would seem.
I'm a little anxious but not really worried. We have so many things to do preparing for our next "little adventure".
We have the cabin in vermont and intend to rid ourselves of the property tax heavy Tenafly house for a friendlier valley house around Northampton,Mass.
1 year and 1 month until R Day!
In the meantime I must put up with the rigamarole of things I've done for ,at this point, too long but knowing that I will soon be saying adieu,so long,goodbye....
