Mickey Mouse is een verderfelijk, angstaanjagend wezen dat volgens de islamitische wet gedood zou moeten worden. Dat heeft de Saudi-Arabische sjeik en geestelijke Muhammad al-Munajid gezegd. De sjeik sprak zijn fatwa (islamitsch vonnis) uit tijdens een tv-interview. In het fragment begint hij zijn verklaring met de plechtstatige vraag: “Wat is het standpunt van de islamitische wet over muizen?” Het antwoord is duidelijk: muizen zijn verderfelijke, schadelijke dieren, soldaten van Satan zelfs. En Mickey Mouse, de creatie van Walt Disney, is er de schuld van dat kinderen muizen lieve diertjes vinden, aldus Muhammad al-Munajid. Hij omschrijft de muis als een afstotelijk creatuur dat mensen te gronde richt. Hetzelfde geldt overigens voor Jerry, de muis die altijd achterna wordt gezeten door Tom.

Mickey Mouse 'agent of Satan'
A prominent Saudi Islamic cleric has issued a fatwa, or religious edict, against Mickey Mouse, whom he characterized as an agent of Satan sent to corrupt young minds.
Sheikh Mohammed Al-Munajid told Saudi Arabia's Al-Majd Television that his beef with Mickey is that he is a mouse, a creature that Islam sees as "repulsive and corrupting."
Al-Munajid explained that Islamic law refers to the mouse as "little corrupter" and a creature that is "steered by Satan," and grants permission to all Muslims to "kill [mice] in all cases."

In the family of all languages all natural languages have once in common: They can not be proven in a matematical way. So there is a world of interpretation and misunderstanding part of the system. Reading a book in natural language is like heraring something spoken in natrural language: A interpretation IN YOUR HEAD is the result.
So Henry post here the interpretation of a Saudi Arabian buffoon for discussion, not your interpretation nor anything else.
