New Year & New Shots / And some old stuff too

I spent some time last night looking at "old" shots. There are so many shots that "might be good to have at a later date", too many. I tried to be more critical, considering some of the shots have been there for a number of years, untouched. I threw a lot of shots out but I did see some shots since I thought I saw some good things I had not seen the first time around. So I'll work on them a bit and upload.

Got several papers to translate yesterday and then there is the language school to take care of, but I want to spend some of my time on my photos too, even on days when I do not have time to go out with my camera.

Truth

"Once a thing is known it can never be unknown. It can only be forgotten. And, in a way that bends time, so long as it is remembered, it will indicate the future. It is wiser, in every circumstance, to forget, to cultivate the art of forgetting. To remember is to face the enemy. The truth lies in remembering."

© Anita Brookner 1983 (In the book: Look at Me.)

Think of this next time you hear a politician say: "I can't remember" or "I do not recall having said that".
