... and you are in Western Germany so I have an idea for you where to go:
For the non-German-speakers here are a little tour through the area.
We went to this beautiful place yesterday. So much green, so much wonderful flavours in the air, some nice animals (not many to see but more to hear), a lot cultural things to discover and a good meal (simple but very yummy!).
The entrance fee seems a bit high but if you see this natural beauty and enjoy the meal it would be ok for you!
And of cause... we made some pix. Have a look at my album Insel Hombroich. (Don't be worry ... the number of the pix will be higher soon...)
