Hello Team Ipernity,
I write this open letter to you because I have asked you a question - and some other people too - but never got a satisfactory response. The problem I´m writing about is about bad lot tracking of comments on pictures that I ´ve made a comment on....
Surely you remember my posts:
Christian Conti said "ok ok we'll think about that". That was over 1 moth ago. Since then nothing happened... After this time without any comment I slowly don´t know how to deal with. If theres no way to follow up comments theres no community and no discussion - only unambitious picture-show. Befor investing a lot of pictures and time I finally want to know if you plan an alteration concerning better comment tracing.
I don´t know why you gave no answer till now and wait for your signal.
Tupelo Honey

Maybe you haven't made clear exactly what you want to have:
If I understand you correctly, you want to have the equivalent to the "comments you've made" Flickr function on the user's page.
The nice thing about this function is that with just one mouseclick, it gives an overview of
(a) consecutive user answers on ALL picture threads you have ever commented, and
(b) provide a selection of the (number) x latest user answers in any one thread (so the user can decide to click on the thread if he wants to tune into the discussion).
The beauty of this concept is that one doesn't have to browse every picture thread one remembers of ever having commented (that's a bummer). Instead, one click gives you an overview of ALL discussions that are going on, in which you ever participated. This SAVES A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF CLICKING AROUND.
Now all I hope is that Ipernity staff are actually lurking in this thread ...

But the problem was also described in many statements before.
I'm sure that Ipernity staff understand it.

I'd like to have this feature, as described by tschnitzlein above, but I also understand that there's a chaos of demands and only limited personel to research and implement...
I've always received attentive answers and solutions, rather sooner than later, and I'm not even a paying member 8-|
So people, give them a break! I'm sure they listen ;-)

so i agree to peri22b, roberto.
i am happy about all the nice things they launched lately and i will be happy if they spend time and work on this topic, and so long i will wait and appreciate what we already get here for very few (or no) money. my 2 cents.

When I go to My Space - recent activity, I find a link "your activity at other's" in the upper right. This works fine for me. It's about the same than the "other's activity at mine" page. Would profit from multipage approach, but at least I can track what I wrote last week and what was replied and all that stuff. Is that new?Mainzelmann edited this comment 12 months ago.

@ assbach
Tupelo wrote this open letter because she (like many others) asked for this essential feature. The only response of Ipernity staff was that they " think about that" one month ago.
You can call it pressure when we ask for the result of this "thinking about". I call it normal habit as a customer.
In my opinion Ipernity staff did a great job since we all moved from Flickr to Ipernity especially because they communicated with us.
I support Tupelo when she reminds Ipernity staff to communicate with us after one month in case of a very important feature we need.
Nobody complained that this feature is not available right now. The complaining is about communication!

Well I guess we did not reply because this is the most demanded feature since a long time - and we already said it's planned and one of uou top priorities.
We tried since a month to improve the activity pages but there were also a lot of things we had to care about.
We're now ready to work on it and hopefully this will be out during the week.
ps: posting to groups with DocManager too ;)

It is like ipernity-history.
The tracking of comments is an appealing feature.
So thanks to all that asked for it.
