[IPERNITY NEWS] New format for viewing streams

Sunday November 25, 2007 at 10:56PM

Another silent gift from the Team

Have you noticed that, when in a user's photo stream (ex. mine is www.ipernity.com/doc/robertoballerini) you can now choose to see the shots in Large format?

This is another feature I missed: merci Team Ipernity

Is that really new?
It seems to me that is has been available for a while.

I wish that the Ipernity devel team could include soon a feature to let you choose the default view size of your stream. In that order you can choose for example that People see your Stream in Large size by default which is more clean and elegant in my opinion. THAT would be a really good NEW.

In a Great WEB2.0 Website (like ipernity) you will always have insatiable users constantly demanding more and more cool features = P

Perhaps it was already here: I wasn't aware (and I wasn't the only). And yes, it would be great if we could choose a default view size as on Flickr, but I think the Team is working for giving us the chance to have more customizations than this, as requested by lot of users...

Patricio replies:
I agree with you and I'm totally sure we will have more and more great features like that one soon. To be honest I think Ipernity is just wonderful.. and that's the reason I get excited with new features.. because if you just look what the Team have currently achieved and all the great features the site has.. it makes you understand that they are more than capable to keep doing this great job, improving and implementing more exciting features. And as a user I hope to get my Pro account soon to support this great work.

Hmm. I'm I blind? Where can you choose another format? I can choose the speed but I don't see anything about formats...

Patricio says:
Paul,
Roberto is making reference to this kind of format ( in this case a large version of your stream)

Paŭl Peeraertspro replies:
Thanks Patricio, now I understand. But this feature has been there as long as I can remember ... I thought Roberto was talking about the picture shows.

Roberto Ballerini - travelingpro replies:
As far as I know, it is a recent feature: I remember only the thumbnails and medium formats... Perhaps I'm mistaken, but more than one person never saw it as me ;-)
